Try Chatting with PaintChat
The bottom portion of the screen is where chatting takes place. In the entry box next to where it says "Chat," type some words. If you are new to a particular PaintChat, it is good form to introduce yourself like so: "Hi, I'm Newbee. Just trying out the Dojin Cafe's PaintChat tutorial."

Press Enter to send your message to everyone in the chat room.
! Shortcut: Ctrl+s = send chat message (same as pressing Enter)
Who's in the Room?
Look to the right of the chat section to see the screen names or handles of the other people in your PaintChat room.
PaintChat Float Canvas Tools
Below the user names are three buttons: "F", "FAll" and "Leaving".
Float
Click on "F" (which stands for Float) and see what happens.

Note that the chat function is now in a separate window that you can move around or manipulate like any other window.
The Float All Function
Click on "FAll" (which stands for Float All) and note that the entire PaintChat program (chat and drawing functions) is now in a separate window that you can move around or manipulate like any other window.
PaintChat Zoom Tools
Look at the plus sign (+) and minus sign (-) near the bottom portion of your drawing surface, just above the chat window. These are the Zoom Tools.
Zoom In
To zoom in a portion of your painting, simply click on the plus sign (+) near the bottom left portion of your drawing surface, just above the chat window.

To zoom in closer, simply click on the plus sign (+) one more time.
Zooming Out
To zoom out, simply click on the minus sign (-) near the bottom right portion of your drawing surface, just above the chat window.
Scrolling with PaintChat
There are two scroll bars that help you move around the canvas. One controls verticle movement; the other controls horizontal movement. They work just like typical Windows scroll bars.
